Digital Marketing metrics for Milwaukee and other Midwest cities
Digital marketing metrics for the Milwaukee and surrounding areas were published by the Digital Marketing Analytics Association (DMAA) as part of their digital marketing metrics report.
The data shows that the Milwaukee area has one of the highest rates of mobile traffic, followed by Iowa City and Columbus.
Mobile traffic in the metro area increased 1.8 percent in the past 12 months and was up 4.6 percent year-over-year in the last 12 months.
Mobile and online traffic is also growing in the Milwaukee metro area, according to the data.
Mobile has been growing in Milwaukee for the past several years, with mobile traffic growing 8.4 percent year over year and 4.2 percent in 2016.
Online traffic in Milwaukee increased 3.4 per cent in the year-ago period and is up 6.7 percent in 2017.
Mobile internet traffic is up 11.3 percent year to date and is down 1.5 percent year -to-date in 2017, the data shows.
The numbers also show that mobile and internet traffic was up 2.2 and 4 percent year on year in the city of Milwaukee and in the surrounding counties.
In the city, mobile traffic grew 6.6 per cent year-to-year, up 6 percent in four months and 4 per cent increase in the previous three months.
Internet traffic in Cincinnati grew 2.5 per cent over the year and grew 2 per cent annually, with the city seeing an increase of 2.9 percent in mobile traffic.
Internet was up 21.6% in Columbus in the same period, with internet traffic increasing 4.7 per cent.
The Milwaukee region has the second highest growth rate in mobile internet traffic, with growth in mobile growing by 4.3 per cent and internet by 3.7%.
Mobile internet usage is up 18.4% year-on-year and is still growing, according the data, with a growth of 17.6%.
Mobile and internet usage grew in Milwaukee and were up 10.7% and 12.1 percent, respectively.
The digital marketing analytics industry is dominated by Chicago, which is home to one of five largest DMAA member organizations.
The DMAa is responsible for developing digital marketing industry standards.
The report states that the data collected includes data for a number of metrics, including mobile traffic and internet, but does not include any data for digital marketing lead or digital marketing mil, as those are currently not measured by the organization.
The city is also not included in the DMA.
